Jeffrey Zeldman is pretty much my web-design hero. He runs the phenomenally good ALA. He is rather keen on user experience testing and more general online usability issues. He could talk about standards-compliant use of XHTML and CSS 'til the cows come home. But – and this is the crux of what I like about blogs – the last thing I read of his was nothing to do with any of that (fascinating) crap: a birthday note to his mother, six years after her death.
